I decided that the next time that I move I will definitely be utilizing some kind of moving services. I hate moving a lot, and that is why people offer their services, because a lot of other people hate it as well. It just seems like such a pain that everything has to be packed so perfect and then you have to load and unload a truck. I will be hiring someone next time for sure!
I always thought that it was kind of funny that one of the hardest things about moving is finding moving boxes to pack all of your stuff in. It was nice when my mother was working in the produce department the last time I moved because she gave me a ton of really nice apple boxes. Next time I move though, I will order boxes ahead of time to get rid of some of the stress!
For about the last year or so I have been checking out different items to re-model my bathroom with. I have found everything that I want to do the re-model but now I need to come up with the funds to pull it all together. I picked a couple of really nice Delta faucets, I figured I would stick with Delta because that is the same brand that is in there right now. Hopefully I can sell enough stuff around here to take care of my bathroom!
I love to go to garage sales. Usually I end up finding things that I have been wanting for a fraction of the price. We have a bunch of air tools here at the house that we always had to borrow an air compressor for before, but we ended up finding a nice Craftsman air compressor at a garage sale and it was only $30.00. In my opinion it was better than spending $250.00 on a brand new one!
My hubby has his weight equipment in the basement and I was thinking about putting my elliptical machine down there too. We could work out together and it would not be as boring that way, and maybe I would work out more if he was going down there I would follow him. I think that working out as a team is a great idea.
Using payment gateways like authorize.net is always a good thing in my opinion. A lot of people say that paying things online and using money online is not safe, but I think it is actually safer. I know my payment goes somewhere instead of when I send one in the mail I wonder if it made it there OK or if the mail lady decided to throw it under a rock.
I have heard of people making fun of others using a treadmill as a way to work out at home, but I totally understand why a treadmill is better than walking. When the weather is bad you can’t just go for a walk (especially where it gets really cold and icy in winter). Also I won’t walk around my neighborhood because it would make me feel uncomfortable. There are many reasons why people would rather work out in their homes than going for walks outside, and hey they are working out right?!
In my old camcorder I had to use a memory stick in order to take still pictures with it. Back then it was one of the highest mega pixel cameras that you could buy so it was worth it. Now I have a regular 8.0 mp digital camera that takes a memory card. I ended up getting a 4GB card so that I could take a lot of high quality photos without having to worry about emptying the card.
I sent away today for 4 $25.00 gift cards from Newport points. Apparently I smoke too much because I had to send in 1320 UPC symbols from my Newport packages. I have more to spare too, so I am going to see what else they have to offer. Maybe I can get some Christmas shopping done via Newport Pleasure Goods. They had like quite a few items to pick from, and they were not all branded with Newport or anything like that. I already ordered a DVD with Pepsi Stuff for my mother-in-law. They don’t have to know it was free to me right?
I really love being able to find the right personalized gifts for every occasion. I am going to shop at www.PersonalizedStories.com this year for Christmas for my little sister in law because she loves things that have her name on them. I figured if she got one of these books she would totally love it because it would include her in the story. I really think she will love it!
