Vacationing in Branson Missouri

Posted by Kevin in Shopping, Family

I would love to take a vacation to Branson Missouri. I keep hearing things about how beautiful Branson is, and there are a lot of fun things to do there. At www.BransonGetaways.com you can find awesome vacation packages to Branson Missouri that will be exciting and a lot of fun. There are a lot of awesome lodging options to pick from when you are booking your vacation; I am not sure which one I would pick because they all look really great. If you are planning a family vacation Silver Dollar City looks like a really great amusement park to visit for the kids and for yourself too. You can get a great package for a couple at BransonGetaways.com that include things like $30 Red Lobster/Olive Garden Gift Card, Coupon Book with $1,500 worth of savings, $50 Tanger Outlet Shopping Certificate along with lodging and 2 adult tickets to the Grand Country Jubilee! Visit the site today to see the packages that have really great prices.

Webkinz

Posted by Kevin in Family, Games

Yeah, so I wanted to see what the hype was about with Webkinz so I bought one at the store.  I bought a fuzzy looking frog, and brought it home and put the code in.  Now I have a virtual fuzzy frog that I am taking care of by feeding, and playing games with.  It is kind of cool because you actually get a tangible product when you enter the virtual game, where most of the time you do not unless it is something extra.  Webkinz are actually fun, and you do not have to be a kid to enjoy it.

Franchise

Posted by Kevin in Family

When I was growing up my parents had a franchise in two different 7-11 stores. They had to work hard to keep their stores as great as they were, but it seems like they made pretty good money doing this. Franchises are kind of cool and I would like to get into doing one myself one of these days, it just takes a bit of startup money that I don’t have right now.

New Firepit

Posted by Kevin in Family, Life

Ok, i bought a new firepit the other day. It is pretty cool, it is completely caged in and it is about 5 feet tall. I dig it because i can throw in over sized logs and all kinds of paper and it deosnt fly around. No matter what i throw in it, it stays in there. It is also real cool since i can burn in the city and i have no problems with the neighbors since it is considered a grill.

Hurry and Shop

Posted by Kevin in Family, Games, Holidays, Toys, Life

If you are trying to save a bunch of money, Amazon is the way to go but you have to hurry up and shop so you can get your items shipped to you. If you are buying for kids they have a ton of toys for dirt cheap. I picked up a bunch of littlest pet shop toys for $4 and a bunch of cabbage patch kids for $3. This was a great find and i saved a lot of money for Xmas.

Xmas Painting

Posted by Kevin in Family, Holidays, Toys, Life

So i got the wife a painting from Europe for Xmas, well when i got it here it was on a canvas, i had to take it to get it framed and it cost a whopping $100, that was more than the painting. On top of that they said it could take up to a month to get it framed. I did not expect all this drama over a simple painting.

Wanna be a Snowbird

Posted by Kevin in Family, Life

Down in Florida they have what they call snowbirds. Basically it is people from the northern states and Canada who live in FL during the winter. And well i want to be one of them. As soon as i can afford a nice condo in FL and afford my home here i will become a Snowbird and live my summers up here and winters down there. It sounds perfect to me.

Changing Churches

Posted by Kevin in God, Family, Life

Well, i have been going to the same church for almost a decade now but the church has gone to crap. Yes I am religious but i am not a self righteous person like most, and well thats why i am leaving the church. The people who donate larger amounts are always making odd demands and the church listens since thats where the money comes from. There is always drama and gossip and it has become more of a social event than to praise god. I think most churches are like that

Bah @ Holidays

Posted by Kevin in Family, Holidays, Life

So the holidays are coming up and frankly i can not stand it. I would love it if i had normal family plans but I have to drive across the state several times and go to 8 houses for every holiday since the wife has so much family. It is pretty annoying but i have to do it every year. Back in the day i had the luxury of going to one house and hanging out all day long and relaxing.
