DNA Testing

I have been watching a lot of crime shows lately and it seems like they use DNA testing for everything. I do not think the city that I live in even has this technology and that is probably why so many murders remain unsolved. I think that they could send the samples off to be tested, but this city is poor so they probably figure that they could not afford it. From what I hear it is not as expensive as you would think!
